September 8 kicks off a time of intense activity in the cosmos that will have impact and influence all of us in some fashion.

Later that same day, at 5:44 PM UTC (11:44 AM EDT, 8:44 AM PDT), Venus, the planet of love moves into Scorpio -- the passionate sign of the Scorpion -- ruler of our emotions and commitments. Venus will stay in Scorpio until January 7, 2011, turning retrograde in this sign later this year. We will all get a little more passionate and possessive about the things we love during this sojourn, and this transit will affect all of us in our relationships on some level.
Then during the late night and early morning hours of September 9, Jupiter will move into the spiritual sign of Pisces -- which it jointly rules with Neptune -- until January 23, 2011 for its final stint in Pisces, which it will not visit for another 10 to 12 years.
